Who is Athens Chapel?
Athens Chapel is a group of people from many different backgrounds who have come together as a family because of our common belief in Jesus Christ.

Who is Athens affiliated with?
Athens Chapel is non-denominational. We are independent with no hierarchy to govern us. Rather we submit to the Biblical pattern of a plurality of shepherding Elders to oversee the Church. Our desire is to simply be Christians and restore ourselves to the pattern revealed in the Bible. We believe that the Bible only makes Christians only.

What kind of music does Athens use in its Celebration time?
At Athens we use all kinds of music— both cutting edge choruses and the timeless treasured hymns. Our goal is to provide a contemporary atmosphere using anything that will glorify God and encourage an attitude of worship. This includes various media, dramas, video, lighting, and instruments. We desire to use the talents that God brings to Athens for His glory.

What governs decisions at Athens?
Athens Chapel is Bible centered. That means that we use the Bible as our sole source of authority. We have no creed, staunch by-laws, or constitution to direct us. We stand upon the Bible only as our source of authority in matters of faith and practice. The Bible is the core of the preaching and teaching at Athens.
